Research

The Lanterna Research Group focuses on the rational design of heterogeneous photocatalysts based on earth-abundant, inexpensive and stable materials for applications in sustainable chemistry and hydrogen generation. Our interests range from developing fundamental knowledge about the structure-activity relationship to materials design for potential large-scale applications.

Opportunities

We welcome highly-motivated and enthusiastic students and postdoctoral researchers who would like to join us on our research adventure. Please contact Anabel following this link here to discuss the opportunities in the lab.

Facilities

We benefit from the analytical facilities hosted at the School of Chemistry and in the nanoscale and microscale Research Centre (nmRC), a cross-disciplinary facility dedicated to supporting world-leading nanoscience and materials characterisation technology.
